I know a bunch of you are waking up and checking the blog. We didn't have a chance to come to the hotel between visits today, so while I am updating the Anelya part of the blog, I thought I'd send you my blog's form of an amuse bouche.
So many of you have written and commented about how you have felt a part of this journey because of the blog. I am so happy to hear this! We really are having the time of our lives here. One of the most fun parts of our non-Anelya days here is the time we spend with the amazing Semey staff. Oh my are they a lot of fun!
I cannot claim to have fully included you in this journey without sending you a clip of our daily communication with Pasha, our driver. We always have a blast with Pasha, even though he doesn't speak English and my Russian is brutally rusty. I took this video about 30 minutes ago on our way back to the hotel. Just to show you how we communicate without our translator...

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.
