Mama, I Will NEVER Sit!!!

Anelya was in a very good mood again this morning, but her caregivers said she is still sick and so they dressed her in no less than 5 layers of clothing, including a hand knit sweater. She was like a mummy and couldn't move an inch, except her arms. This time they asked me to keep everything on her in the bonding room. I am not sure why, she's not stuffy and she's not coughing, but I just listen and do what they ask me to do.

Not bad for a close up!
Anelya is so determined to get my camera!

Um, hello? How cute is this face?

Now that Anelya has figured out she can jump, she wants nothing to do with sitting anymore, so it's constantly up, down, up, down, and all over again. Yall better get some tickets to the gun show because I'm gonna be packing some major guns soon! For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, it means that my biceps are going to be ripped after this trip.
I was able to feed her again today. It went slowly, but more smoothly. She fell asleep halfway through the meal, and would barely open her mouth to let in a bite of food. It was so cute. We went to the bazaar again with the Gilpatrick/Clarks and bought some small presents to bring home and a couple of things to give to Anelya through the years. Both families were really in search of some gorgeous tablecloths that we saw the other night at the traditional Kazakh restaurant, but we did not succeed in finding any.
Now we are at the hotel between visits and I have a headache. I think it's from all of the dust because I was fine when I woke up this morning. The food is yummy here, but I am starting to feel like a big potato. My pants are kind of tight so I am pulling in the reigns a little. Ok time for a quick nap before they pick us up again in 45 minutes.

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.
