This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.

HaHa.. did you go off roading. I swear they make NYC taxi drivers look calm.
Andrea- you look so beautiful today and your glowing. Ah the happy mommy glow.
Ok, this will be long.
#1 I want you to know how badly its been KILLING me to have your first week over there be my ONLY week of being disconnected from the internet whilst on vacation. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE dying to read these posts.
#2 I want you to take this as the highest compliment possible that I have literally been ignoring my kids for the last 2 hours while reading said posts, videos, and russian proverbs. I think they are about to set the house on fire, so thankfully I am caught up. I love her, and cannot WAIT to bite her. (said lovingly of course!)
#3 Christopher (my oldest) shares the same birthday and he wants to know if she will have a Wolverine birthday party with him. I said probably not, because 1 year old birthdays are very special and it will likely scare the hell out of her. He thinks he can convince her otherwise...I said its worth a shot.
#4 Thank you for sharing such intimate details and times about this adventure and life changing experience, I am a pile of mush and am out of tissues, so again thankful that I'm all caught up.
She is an edible bunch of snuggily fun that I cannot wait to meet and and so grateful you two finally found each other! Tell your mom that she is indeed a trooper and so so glad she is with you to experience all of this!
Greco, OUT!
SO funny!!!
hilarious and that she is sitting next to the giant stuffed animal. you should kidnap that thing.
Ok, this is the funniest stuff ever. I love these Russian Proverbs. You can just tell that your mom is trying her hardest not to crack up. You two are good....maybe you should take this act on the road. :)
What is the best part of the Kazak Road?? If it isn't the road? Is it that there aren't true roads? :)
