Starting in a couple of weeks, Team Lily will begin our holiday fundraiser. We will be selling wreaths, garland and other holiday decorations and supplies all over the country. The proceeds will go towards the costs of the adoption.
In order for this fundraiser to work, I need your help. I am asking all of my interested friends and family to take an order sheet and let people know about the fundraiser. You can tape it to your desk, keep it in your purse to discuss with moms at school, or even send out an email letting people know about the fundraiser. Lots of people will be buying Christmas decorations anyway and may really like the idea of the proceeds going to a good cause. Then, when you are ready to place your order, you will fax your order form to me and I will have the items delivered you. You can ask people to pick them up at a specific time, you can deliver them - whatever is easiest for you. I will be sending a 2 page flyer with pictures, prices and item descriptions, just as soon as I have enough people involved. I suggest we start selling these items on November 1 and shoot for a delivery the week after Thanksgiving, unless someone requests an earlier delivery.
Here's the math. If 20 of my friends sell 10 wreaths, that will be $1700 we will have earned for the adoption. This is a great way to contribute without having to give money. If you are interested in joining Team Lily's Fundraising division, please e-mail me at adoptinglily@gmail.com Unfortunately, this activity can only be done among my friend in the U.S.
***NOTE*** The top 3 fundraisers will receive a special gift from Kazakhstan upon my return!

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.
