Ladies and gentlemen... drum roll PLEASE............................................ My dossier is ready to send to translation! Once again, living in NH rocks. And so does FedEx. You see, while I was gallivanting around Boston today getting my birth certificate apostilled, FedEx was sneaking past my stalking tendencies and delivering the apostilled documents to my office... which was closed. But, never fear! It takes a village! My friend Donnamarie (who you may remember was instrumental help in my fundraising yard sale) works across the hall and had left me a message when I got home saying that she signed for an envelope from the Secretary of State and knew I was waiting for it! Go Donnamarie! So, I haven't actually SEEN the complete, perfect, holy grail of paperwork, but I know it's all of those things.
This means, my friends, that I will be copying the dossier first thing in the morning and FedEx-ing it to LMI in Texas to go to translation. ****Cue the angel voices**** I will obviously document the exciting copying and sending process tomorrow, clearly more for myself than for your enjoyment ("and THEN I copied page 17!!! Exciting stuff, guys, humor me").
I kind of feel like I am one of the gang now. I get to change my status on the boards to "dossier in translation" tomorrow. I am about to officially be in the pipeline to Kazakhstan and to my Lily. FINALLY!

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.
