Revised Homestudy, Yard Sale, & Yes, Tim Gunn

I received an e-mail from my home study agency yesterday, saying that they expect to receive my update home study today and will send it right off to me. I am hoping the timing will work so I can go to the State House on Monday and get this latest hurdle, well, hurdled. I feel fortunate to have made the decision to do this a few days before others from LMI were advised to do the same. And, as I was only in translation for 2-3 days prior, I feel like it's all for the better. 

Yard sale preparation is in full gear and people seem to be coming through, once again. A canoe, a big tv, kitchen stuff, a mountain bike - You name it! We've got it! This weekend will be spent running around collecting stuff and getting it ready for the big show next weekend. 

Now onto Tim Gunn, because you know that's what caught your attention ;-)  Yes, people, it's true. This country girl has landed tickets to the Project Runway Fashion Show in Bryant Park during New York Fashion Week.  (squeals of delight are entirely appropriate right now)  Yes, I will be there watching the finalists show their collections. I am a pretty laid back NH girl these days, but remember, after growing up in Providence and spending my adult life in DC and Stockholm, I'm a city girl at heart and MAN are my city sirens a-blarin' today! Project Runway, baby. I have to go - I only have two weeks to decide what I am going to wear. HAHA "Make it work."
