Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come. With all of the changes and uncertainty surrounding Kazakhstan adoption right now, I just feel it is safer for me to lock down the blog. I decided to do so somewhat suddenly and unannounced, as I was anticipating a ton of requests for invitations from people who are following the blog, but that I don't really know. This would normally be fine with me, except I realized last night that Blogger only allows me 100 readers at any given time. So, if you have gone to the trouble to create a user name and password, then I thank you for your interest. I swear, this blog will be WORLD CLASS once we get to Kazakhstan and I make my mom horse meat stew (just kidding). Actually, I won't make it, but mystery meat in Kazakhstan = horse meat, so...
I have nothing to report, but am hoping for some miraculous "Oh your dossier is already at the Consulate" news very soon. I'll keep you posted!

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.
