Well, I obviously still don't have any news, but I am feeling better day by day now and have taken to enjoying my quiet time and preparing for Lily's arrival. Mom and Dad have, as usual, been unbelievably supportive and have helped keep me distracted as I go through one of the worst months of my life. Last weekend all three of us went baby shopping. Even Dad was looking through the clothes trying to guess sizes. Go Dad!
Mom and I organized things in Lily's room and started getting ready for the next yard sale, which we have decided will be the weekend after the 4th of July (July 11-12) at my house. This yard sale will be my final fundraiser. Help of any kind is appreciated.
I am really excited that both of my parents want to come to Kazakhstan. What an amazing gift for Lily to have such supportive and loving grandparents. It will be so wonderful for her to hear stories of her country from more than one family member. I am very thankful for my family and can't imagine a family better equipped to welcome Lily home. Thanks Mom and Dad!

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.
