A few days ago, I was able to complete my downstairs painting project. I love the red that I chose and the new and improved way that the furniture has been arranged makes the room look twice as big. Now I have to measure the doorway to put in a door and find some nice looking molding to put up.
I had ordered a couple of pieces of the baby's bedding and once I was done with the downstairs project, I started to concentrate on the upstairs bedroom. It turns out that the bedroom's current shade of blue works out very nicely with the bedding. It is such a restful color that I have decided to leave it blue. And so, it's now time for a crib. I will get to that once this last holiday is over with.
I have some friends coming up for a few days for New Year's, which means SOMEONE will have a camera out and I will remember to take pictures to post here of the changes to the house. It's been a crazy couple of months and a lot is happening in this little world of mine, so please bear with me!

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.
