Dossier submitted for agency approval

Big day again! A couple of hours ago I submitted my dossier paperwork to LMI for review. If everything is in order, then I will be free to go to The Secretary of State in Concord to apostille/authenticate each page of the dossier.

Please keep your fingers crossed that everything is in order. I am really excited to get this show on the road and hurry up and WAIT!

What a big step!! I remember the day. It is such a great accomplishment. I remember when you were worried about being able to get it done. That was not too long ago!! YEAH good job!!

Thanks, Christy and Shauna, my two elected adoption mentors ;-) You are such a great cheering section!

To be honest, the dossier really caused me some anxiety, but LMI was so fabulous in walking me hrough it. I wouldn't say it was a piece of cake, because it's still not over, but it wasn't so bad. How long did it take them to tell you yours were ready for authentication?

Congrats it is a huge milestone. Once they give you the AOK you will feel a sense of relief, I know I did. Now mine is travelling along and hopefully it will land in Kaz this fall.

Congratulations on your dossier completion. I am with LMI also. I apostilled my dossier before I sent it for approval, but it only took them 4 days to review it. I think they told me it could take up to 2 weeks.

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.
