Vogue, Vogue, Vogue

Today was very exciting. My father called when I was out to lunch today to tell me that my stroller had arrived! After lunch, I promptly flew over to their house to pick up this monstrosity of a box. I then took it back to the office and announced to the doctor that we were going to put it together this afternoon. Luckily, it was an easy assembly and I had most of it done already.

When I brought it home, Gunnar first asked me if he could PLEEEEASE pee on it. I made it clear that that would not be acceptable. Having given up, he then begged me to let him model it for you and show off its different positions and bells and whistles. Please notice (and ooohhh and ahhhh) at the bassinet feature which my baby will likely be too big for, the toddler seat, and the way the handlebar can be located on either side of the buggy so that the baby can A) look ahead for good scenery B) look at me for good attachment with the Mama. You may also feel free to do back flips over the brakes on BOTH side of the apparatus. Also notice the basket below. This thing just rocks. Now watch me get a baby who hates strollers. HAHAHAHA

Here are Gunnar's best impressions of Zoolander...

First oooooooooooooohhhhhhh aaaahhhh that is a great stroller! :)

Gunnar is way too cute, okay, to be fair, he is a bit goofy looking so thus it makes him super cute! Gunnar? Funny name, how did you ever come up with that? I like it! :) It seems to fit. Kindof goofy.

Hee hee. yes it is fabulous, isn't it? But there is an even MORE fabulous stroller on my dream list - Bugaboo Frog. It;s on my registry. We'll see, we'll see. It's a stretch.

Gunnar is a Swedish name - a very funny one. It's kind of like Mildred for a woman - you know - only an old lady would be named Mildred. And Gunnar loked like a 90 year old man when i got him at 10 weeks old! LOL. he's a total mama's boy... until there are guests and then he couldn't care less about me. Traitor ;-)

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.
