Today I sent away my homestudy original to USCIS. That was 3 hours and 22 minutes ago to be exact. And yes, I am stalking the package online. It will be interesting to see how long it will take for me to get my 171-H, which will be the final part of my dossier. At the moment, I am waiting for my agency (LMI) to write the major parts of the dossier and send it my way so I can add the supplementary documentation needed by the Kazakh government. I didn't feel stressed about this until now. There are letters that need to be written by various people and institutions and I wish I could have the wording ahead of time to get on the horn, but they have to consider each person's specific situation and prepare the documents accordingly. So, we wait.
I also applied for two grants today. I would like to ask all of you to put it out there, however it is that you do it, that it would be GREAT if I received a grant. I will keep you posted as to the progress.
That's all for today. I know that you are not as crazy as I am about watching the paperwork's every move, but I will keep you informed because... it calms me and makes me feel like something is happening.

That is great, another step towards completing your dossier. I know how you feel about wanting to get a jump on the paperwork but the biggest reason behind it is everything is time sensitive. Hang in there, LMI does a great job getting the documents together to make it easier for you to work.
