Brief Update

It's been a while since I updated the blog. Life has changed dramatically since Anelya started walking. She is incredibly fast and now doesn't crawl at all. She just runs. And runs. And empties drawers. I do not sit for a second until she goes to bed.

Anelya was sick with bronchiolitis for a a while, but got better and was doing great for a few weeks. Now she has croup and is back on the nebulizer. We had a pretty miserable week last week, but this weekend she at least slept through the nights and we are working hard to get her ready for our big weekend this weekend! We are going back to Massachusetts to spend the weekend with the Clark/Gilpatrick family, who you all know as Kalamkas' family! We can't wait to spend the weekend with Julia Kalamkas and her clan. Anelya and the girls will play and catch up, while Tammy, Bob and I will do the same. I am so happy they live just two hours away so we can continue to nurture our relationship as extended family.

I will take lots of pictures and post when we get back.

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.
