I know that I haven't been updating much and the truth is, there isn't much to update you on. I have now redone my dossier, as my first one expires this summer. I went to USCIS a few weeks ago and redid my fingerprints and am now collecting the last document for my travel and court docs. Once that is done, I will be finished and ready to go. Now we just need a Lily :-)
I also have not wanted to be a total downer and this summer has been very emotionally trying for me as I mourn a painful break up. I continue to struggle with it daily, but I know I will be fine. At least the weather has finally been beautiful, which has helped a great deal.
I am still hoping to go to meet Lily in September, although I will not know anything for sure until just days before I travel. PLEASE, I ask you to pray for me and help me find my way to my baby. I am so ready for this new chapter to begin. I am ready for the changes that come with becoming a mom. I am ready.
One really great thing that has come out of these tough couple of months is that I have lost a whopping 23 lbs and almost 3 dress sizes. I am looking WAY better than I feel and I do hope my heart will catch up to my appearance very soon. I am posting a couple of pictures from the Jimmy Buffett concert I went to a few weekends ago, so you can see! My friend Coleen (in the pictures with me) has really come through for me and supported, especially during the past couple of months. Thanks, Col! Enjoy!
