As I wait for my LOI (letter of Invitation) I have decided to just prepare as much as possible, so I have finished my travel and court docs and started packing. Sometimes you get as little as 3 days notice for travel, so I have been collecting baby things I will need on the first trip, such as, medicines, a bottle, pacifiers, some clothes, burp cloths, toys, etc. I have also bought all of the over the counter meds we will need, just in case. It's actually a whole lot of fun getting ready and it will give me peace of mind to know that I am so prepared when we get word that it's time to "beat it"! I called my dogsitter to make sure she is still on board for moving in for a month. I have gotten extra food and meds for the dogs, told the vet I will be eventually be away for a chunk of time and to please cooperate with my dogsitter. My Gunnar always seems to end up at the vet with some allergic reaction to anything under the sun, so I just wanted her to know that I will be pretty unreachable and please just keep a tab for me. HAHA
I believe everything is falling into place. Please continue to send your positive vibes and wishes.

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.

As always, hoping you will hear from your little Lily soon. We are thinking of you and looking forward to following your trip to Kaz.
Wanted to mention to you about any donations you were thinking of bringing. The baby house doctors seemed to really appreciate any baby tylenol.
Hugs-
Suzette

It is fun to start packing! Other than vitamins that I snuck into some juice, I didn't need any other baby meds for the first trip. The babyhouse wouldn't allow me to give him anything, but every region is different.
Sending lots of positive thoughts your way!
Positive vibes and good wishes all the way!
Best, Pam
