Application under consideration

Not much to report right now. LMI has confirmed the receipt of my application and is currently reviewing it.  I did get a phone call from my coordinator who told me that I need to be open to a girl under 18 months of age, although it is very likely that I will be able to adopt one under 12 months. I am fine with it either way, as long as the baby is generally healthy.

I spoke with a person affiliated with the daycare center I will be using. It turns out that they have a waiting list for their baby/toddler program right now, so I am going to go in soon to add myself (well, add Lily) to that list. AHHHHHHHHHH!

In the meantime, I am filling my days with daily trips to the post office with the huge amount of packages I am selling. I am also getting ready for my March 1 trip to Sweden. I can't wait to get back to my other home and see all of the friends I left behind four years ago. I am going for two weeks, which are amazingly almost completely fully booked.

As you can tell, there's not much  to report, but I do appreciate hearing from all of you.  Soon I will start the FBI fingerprinting and background check and I will be sure to make that a dramatic entry to hold your interest!

This is the story of how a single 30-something year old woman and a 6.5 month old angel from Kazakhstan found each other and became a family. A journey which started as a dream, became reality in August 2009 when two hearts found one home... together.
