My dad (and Anelya's hero) had a birthday this weekend and as a result, Anelya got to inaugurate her celebratory tutu. I am so crazy over the moon about this picture I cannot even stand it.

She loved wearing her fabulous tutu and kept twirling and spinning.

My faithful blog readers will recognize Erik, our former exchange student who lived here 9 years ago and comes back every summer for a few weeks. This year he brought his adorable girlfriend, Sofie. No one is ever good enough for Erik, as far as I am concerned, but I love this girl. I'm gonna say it. I approve. We can keep her. :-)

New this month is Anelya's playroom. Thanks to IKEA and Etsy.com, I was able to completely redo this room for $200. Anelya LOVES it and plays in there endlessly. Bonus - I got my living room back. All of these toys had taken it over.

Anelya loves to clean up and when she is actually done with her toys, she puts them back in the cubbies. God I love this kid.

She spends lots of time cooking food for anyone who comes in to her playroom. The whole time she says , "Cook! Cook! Cook!" Usually she is cooking "hawtdog", but every now and then it's all about "chicken".

If things with Sofia don't work out, Erik has a new friend in Florida, albeit a little older and more brunette ;-)
